If you're in Hong Kong, I'd love for you to experience this exhibition in person. It would mean so much to share this moment with you! And if you're somewhere else in the world, I hope these photos from the exhibition will bring you closer to my journey and allow you to experience a part of it, wherever you are.
48 Notes to Myself is a year-long collection born from a period of profound personal change.
After years of building an international career, I stepped away from exhibitions to devote myself to raising my daughter. Without the familiar sense of progress, I began questioning the life I had built and the expectations I had been living by. During this time, I started going to the sea every day. Away from the noise of my former life, I found space to listen to myself. I began writing down my thoughts, wishes, and personal reflections, turning them into a daily ritual.
Those notes became the foundation of 48 paintings, each revealing a part of my inner world.
Through textured landscapes and small human figures, I explore feelings of freedom, longing, stillness, and belonging, inviting you to imagine yourself within these worlds. What began as a personal journey became a year-long practice of slowing down, being present, and learning to appreciate life as it is, without the constant pressure to become someone else.
It all started within me. And it ends here. I AM THE WORLD I CREATED. 48 notes. 48 paintings. One journey back to myself. Thank you for being part of my world.
Featured paintings: IT ALL STARTS WITHIN ME, FINDING PEACE INSIDE, JUST LET IT GO, YOU WERE MY FIRST HOME, TO THE MOST LOVED PERSON, MY OWN FREEDOM, SLOW DOWN, SEE THE WORLD, I AM THE WORLD I CREATED.
