I started LIVE-WITH-ART from a simple place - my love for the palette knife and my belief that art belongs in everyday life.
I'm Anna Salenko, and this name, this space, is my heart put into words. Live With Art isn't just a brand. It's how I see the world. It's how I feel the world.
I create to share that feeling. To show people what a palette knife can do - the texture, the emotion, the raw energy it brings to a canvas. And more than that? To inspire others to let art live with them too.
Because life itself is where I find everything I paint. The light. The love. The moments that matter.
So yes: I live with art. And if something here speaks to you, maybe you do too.
My Story
I was born by the deep blue sea. That color, created by nature, the perfect gradient I’m achieving in each stroke has been the main stream of my life.I first picked up a palette knife at 20, and since then I've never really put it down.
I studied in Italy, then moved to China, where my scenery paintings got published early on. That’s also when I first painted my signature couple at the front as main characters. In 2018, a gallery found me on Instagram! My work expanded to Paris, Lyon, Amsterdam ... I moved to HK in 2019. The skyline popped into my mind constantly. My works traveled to the US, UK and Australia. My art was published in newspapers, and I was invited to be on TV.
After 5 hardworking years, when I got well known in Hong Kong and started getting recognition abroad - my life by my choice took a pause. I was missing something: my own family. So the year my daughter was born was 100% dedicated to her.Thanks to all the time I had to spend on her, my previous goals vanished. And a clearer one came alive.
And now, living in nature with my daughter, I slowly absorb new feelings. A new collection was born, combining nature with people. Yes, this collection is from late 2025… You can see my archive page of 15 years of art practice here.
I've felt lost. Art saved me again. And I believe that nature heals what the mind cannot say. My paintings are not just landscapes. They are places to pause. To breathe. To find yourself again. An artist's work is a map of their life. This is mine so far: unforgettable views, and the people you want to share them with.
But you know what touches me most? When someone stands in front of my painting and feels something. When they see themselves in the texture. When art becomes a bridge between my world and theirs.
That's why I paint.
